WHAT IS VAPING?
Vaping is the act of inhaling vapor produced by a vaporizer or electronic cigarette. The vapor in our products is produced from an "e-liquid" or "e-juice" that may or may not contain nicotine.
IS VAPING SAFER THAN SMOKING CIGARETTES?
The FDA prevents us from making any health claims about our products or use of any vapor devices, and the long-term health effects are still unclear. Below are a few articles about the safety and benefits of switching to vaping:
A vaporizer device is an electronic device that turns e-liquid into vapor. A vaporizer usually consists of battery, cartridges or pods, or an atomizer. The battery generates the power for the heating element in the atomizer or pod, which contacts the vaping material and transforms it into vapor for inhalation.
WHAT IS A "E-LIQUID" OR "E-JUICE"?
"E-Liquid" or "E-Juice" is the primary material used in vaporizers, and consists of a PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerin) base, flavorings, and may or may not contain nicotine. Our E-Liquids are available in a wide variety of flavors and nicotine strengths.
WHAT DO THE NICOTINE LEVELS MEAN?
E-Liquids come in different strength varieties, often noted on the packaging with a milligram strength level (ex. 0mg, 3mg, 12mg). Nicotine in e-liquid is measured in milligrams per gram, or a percentage. For example, some of our lowest available nicotine levels are "3mg" or "3 milligrams per gram". This can also be noted as a percentage per volume (ex. 3mg would be 0.3% by volume).
WHAT IS A STARTER KIT?
We carry a selection of "starter kits" or "pod kits" that are great transition devices from smoking to vaping. These pod devices contain a rechargeable battery and empty pods for filling with your favorite e-liquid. Our pod kits are very similar to the experience of smoking cigarettes, without the combustion, smoke, and deadly chemicals contained in a cigarette. We carry a wide range of flavors to refill your starter kits, and empty replacement pods for these devices. Starter kits are charged via a USB port or cable, and refillable "pods" are filled with e-liquid. Inhaling through the device activates the battery and vaporization of the e-liquid.
WHAT TYPE OF E-LIQUID DO I USE?
We carry 3 types of e-liquid products:
1. High-Nicotine (nicotine salt) e-liquids. These e-liquids contain "nicotine salts", and are available at higher nicotine levels (30mg to 50mg). Nicotine Salts mimic the experience of smoking cigarettes, and enter the bloodstream faster than standard nicotine. For a pack-a-day or more smoker, these higher nicotine "salt" products are recommended and can be a smoother transition to vaping.
2. Low-Nicotine E-Liquids. These e-liquids are recommended for the occasional smoker who does not experience serious nicotine cravings, but wants a small nicotine "kick" while vaping. These products come in lower nicotine levels (3mg to 12mg).
3. No-Nicotine e-liquids. These e-liquids contain NO nicotine, and are vaped to enjoy the flavor, or to reduce the need for "hand-to-mouth" cravings. The goal of vaping is to reduce the amount of nicotine to ZERO, and these products can be used when nicotine cravings are gone and have been reduced. All "0mg" or "0%" products contain NO nicotine.
